The forums are where GSN Club does most of its work. Every role group — Founders & Leaders, Principals & Managers, Counselors & Guides, Teachers Hub and Parents Portal — has its own discussion area, so that the questions you read are the ones that concern your position at your school.
A good topic is a specific one. “How do you handle the transition week for new first-year students?” will bring answers from colleagues who have solved the same problem; a general question rarely does. Give the context of your school when you open a topic — its level, its size and what you have already tried — and the replies you receive will be far more useful.
Two rules apply everywhere on the platform. Discussions are professional exchanges between colleagues, and are expected to remain courteous even where practice differs. And no personal information about students, families or staff may be shared in any topic or document, including in examples.
The forums are read by members across the network, so the experience you share does not stay in one school. Answering a colleague’s question is as valuable a contribution as asking your own.
